Unity – Counting nested objects

This is a simple method for counting the total amount of objects in a parent object

public class CountNestedObjs : MonoBehaviour {

public int totalCount = 0;

public void CountChildObjects(Transform t)
{
foreach (Transform nestedT in t)
{
totalCount++;
Debug.Log(totalCount);
CountChildObjects(nestedT);
}
}
}
